not too long ago before me mam was diagnosed with her cancer she made the statement to me "I might not have been the best mam but I always gave you's a good Christmas" and that she did for sure skinting her self and going into debt to give the 4 of us a Christmas to remember but she did something for another person that money cant buy she gave me a choice at the age of 11 weather to stay with my nanna or come home to her I chose to stay with my nanna she could have took me she could have made me go but she chose my happiness and the happiness of my nanna over her own wants and needs and for that I am eternally grateful thank you mam to show what a good mother she really was she took on her own grandchild (joseph)after the death of our Lindsay she could have collapsed and gave in as no parent should loose one of there own children but she rebuilt and gave Joe a new home and new life and showed him love the best she new how when attending the hospital for the first appointment me mam said no to going straight into hospital as she needed to see to Joe and have him sorted (I forget why)and promised to attend the very next day and she did see to and sort Joe and indeed she did attend the hospital the very next day me mam seldom did show true affection towards us 4 children but when she did you new it but her grandchildren she showed them on each and every occasion she seen them or spoke to them nothing hurt her more than loosing Lindsay but when 2 of her grandchildren were taken from the family and put into new family this came pretty close to that pain nanna moy to all who new her young or old she was surrogate nanna to so many people and at least liked if not loved them all but Nat Lewis Byron Baby Gav Kimberley Mark Daniel Damien and Joseph were her true loves she had her favourites of whom I wont tell but she loves them all 101% equally see mam you were a good mother thank you for being our mam
